Winner of the 2004 Sundance Grand Jury Prize in the documentary category, "Dig!" is an intimate look at the creative evolution and breakdown of two fledgling bands.
The Brian Jonestown Massacre recently played a show at Terminal 5 with a sober Anton Newcombe.
"What's Joel Gion doing now" you ask?
"He rejoined The Brian Jonestown Massacre for their 2006 tour, and is participating on the BJM's 2008 tour. Besides the tambourine, he notably plays the maracas and, as he once said, contributes many "musical ideas". He currently works for Amoeba Music in San Francisco." He also has a band called The Dilettantes.
