"Boardwalk Empire" will join HBO's roster in September 2010. The first episode was directed by Martin Scorsese, written by "The Sopranos"s Terence Winter and features Steve Buscemi. With this calibur of talent, and a reportedly $50 million dollars spent on the pilot, they can only go downhill from there. But I hope not, if only for my sake, because in between season 3 of True Blood and season 5 of Dexter, there will be a lot of time for other activities such as interacting with people and sleeping which I would like to occupy with solitary television viewing.
