I first heard this band's music on a noncommercial radio station at 3 a.m. six or seven years ago. I have always had an immense appreciation for that special species of late-night deejay relegated to the graveyard shift at tiny, local radio stations.
"And Don't the Kids Just Love It" was Television Personalities's debut record and it is as close to being a perfect example of English pop-art-punk as it gets. If you like this, check out The Undertones too.
