Dear Science

One of the handful of events that I had to forgo to see Nick Cave this weekend was the Treasure Island Music Festival. The bill included Brooklyn's own, TV on the Radio, who released the very excellent Return to Cookie Mountain LP in 2006. Their new album, Dear Science is out today in the U.S. I've heard it and I like what I've heard. Stand-out tracks include: "Stork and Owl," "Family Tree" and "Love Dog."

Their taped live performance of "Dancing Choose" for the Late Show with David Letterman yesterday, will air on Friday, Sept. 26 and their new video for "Golden Age" (Prince must've been an influence on the concept.) is on their MySpace page, which is streaming Dear Science in its entirety.

Check out BLOMQVIS' YouTube video of TVOTR performing "Wolf Like Me" at the Treasure Island Fest:

And enjoy!
